«Towarzystwo Naukowe» in Lviv (1901– 1939): history of creation and structure

The article studies the history of creation and structure of the «Towarzystwa Naukowego» which functioned in Lviv during 1901–1939. The main directions of its activity are revealed. The article also mentions specialized scientific publications of the Scientific Society where the gains and achievements of its members as well as leading scientists and experts of Lviv were published.
