Discourse of the local history in Ukrainian publications of the 1930s

Rich body of Western Ukrainian publications in the local history of the 1930s has been collected, systematized and analyzed. Their typological identity has been determined, thematic content, functional orientation and place in local historical discourse – characterized, as well as contribution into development of the Ukrainian local history and into nation’s knowledge of its historical past. Relatively unknown reviews and reports of analyzed publications have been found and put into scientific circulation, indicating their relevance and public interest.
