The article deals with the activity of the Lviv polygraphic institutions, involved in the production of the musical edition. It was established that in their structure there were no specialized institutions that produced exclusively musical products. At the end of the nineteenth century, the geography of the cities of Western Ukraine is expanding, in which there were polygraphic institutions, and musical works were printed.
