Abstract

The article shows the conditions of press publishing activities in Lviv during the period of the First World War and analyzes the influence of wartime circumstances, changes in the power of the city — Austro-Hungarian, Russian, Polish — on the publishing and themes of the Ukrainian periodicals and their editors work.
