This article examines Taras Shevchenko’s works, which were published in Galicia and the capital of Austria-Hungary in 1914–1915 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth. It analyzes the pedagogical and educational role of these publications in honoring Shevchenko’s legacy through cultural-educational and community organizations in the country.
