Abstract

This article explores the legacy of the founder of the French cartographic mapping school Nicolas Sanson (1600–1667) and his successors, retained in the cartography cabinet funds of the Lviv National V. Stefanyk Scientific Library of Ukraine. The analysis of cartographic documents carried out by time of publication, territorial coverage, and collections storage. The maps with image of Ukrainian lands have been discovered scientific description of the five of them composed.
