Abstract

The main periods of formation and development of Dzieduszycki Library up to 1939 are described using archival documents. Historical facts about book and archival holdings of the Lviv branch of Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Library in the Second World War period and post-war time are entered into scientific circulation. The question of possible reconstruction of Dzieduszycki Library is discussed.
