Abstract

We review the photographic images of Ukrainian scientists in natural sciences and mathematics from the collection of the Institute for the Art Resources Studies of Vasyl Stefanyk Scientific Library of Ukraine in Lviv. The individual and group portraits are examined that are mostly unknown to the general public. The historical background is given for the events being pictured on each group photograph.
