In the paper the Frankiana of the last year of the Ivan Franko’s life — since May 1915 — till 28th of May 1916 in the leading Ukrainian periodicals has been analyzed. Publications attest, on the one hand, that the heavily ailing writer remained creative active as an artist, an interpreter and a scholar till the last days of his life, and on the other — a public interest to his personage was conspicuous.
